MOSH/MOAH 2D-MS: SIM offers customers on-site measurements
Mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOH) have been detected in many foods, packaging and cosmetics.
After our standard MOSH/MOAH analyzer with the LC-GC-FID technique, we now offer, together with our partner LECO, the high-end version of this analysis. While until now only quantitative statements could be made concerning the MOSH and MOAH fractions in the analyzed samples, it is now possible to qualitatively determine the components of the individual fractions.
As one of only a few companies in Germany, SIM offers its customers the possibility of having their own samples analyzed in the LC-GCxGC-TOFMS system in Oberhausen. With the two-dimensional GC in combination with the high spectral acquisition rate of the LECO TOFMS, meaningful data on the composition of the MOSH and MOAH fractions can be obtained.
