      Perfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) are persistent chemicals that accumulate in the environment and also in humans. Bans and strict limits for PFAS require sensitive analytics. With the GC-EPED, there is now an element-specific detector with very low detection limits for halogens and sulfur.

      Sensitive is not sensitive enough for us. For this reason, we now offer highly sensitive ion sources for MS developed by the University of Duisburg-Essen. The ion sources offer both an alternative to conventional gas-phase API techniques and an improvement in ionization and ion transfer.
