Electric car or fuel cell?! It is not only the current climate debate that has brought the question of a good life cycle assessment of motor vehicles back to the forefront. In this context, SIM has developed an SFC analyzer with a flame ionization detector (FID) for fuel analysis according ASTM norms.
It has been three years since the last pyrolysis workshop, so this November SIM and the manufacturer Frontier Lab invited to the 4th pyrolysis workshop. After the great response to previous workshops, this year's event was even more popular: 40 users of pyrolysis systems met in Essen to discuss once again this interesting field of analytics.
On September 18, 2018 SIM supported "praxis4u", an initiative for vocational orientation of students in STEM professions. Our employee Niklas Vogel presented the field of the precision mechanic (industrial mechanic, specialization precision engineering) in our company.
