2. Pyrolysis-SIM Workshop
On 23 September 2009, our second Pyrolysis workshop held with good attendance:
The program included presentations from both SIM-staff on the Frontier Lab pyrolysis system - from the operation and applications to maintenance - as well as reports from users about the use of this analytical method for very specific tasks.
There were also examples for the evaluation of Py-GC/MS-Daten using the MS-SIM tools and information about the new UV module Zurm pyrolysis system can be simulated by including polymer degradation processes. The total of 30 participants has been provided with 11 presentations an interesting program, which was also in the breaks discussed further. There were, besides the possibility of physical strengthening and the intensive exchange of experience among users about the specific advantages and problems with the Py-GC/MS.
