Hydrogen Generators
The Precision Hydrogen generators create hydrogen gas from de-ionized water by a Proton Exchnage Membrane (PME). A desiccant filtration stage is used to dry the gas. The generators feature two models, "Standard" and "Trace". The "Standard" generators provide the gas needed for detectors requiring hydrogen fuel gas, such as FID (Flame Ionization Detector) and FPD (Flame Photometric Detector).
The "Trace" model generates ultra-high-purity (UHP) hydrogen, which can be used as carrier gas in GC and GC/MS applications as well as detector gas. The hydrogen gas is created the same way as the "Standard" models and additionally uses Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) and molecular sieve technology to remove moisture content down to trace levels.
