Scientific Instruments Manufacturer GmbH - or SIM: for more than 20 years this name is signifying a passion for chromatography. A constant advancement of the company provides steadily new innovations and solutions in the high-end range of chromatography, mass spectrometry and process analysis.
From April 10-13, 2018 SIM presented many exciting and innovative system solutions for GC and LC at the analytica in Munich, the leading trade fair for laboratory technology, analytics and biotechnology.
We would like to thank our guests for their great interest in our products. Your visit made our participation at the fair a big success. Our trade fair video shows a short summary of the positive atmosphere.
As a partner of the "knowledge-based process intelligence - WiPro Alliance, SIM is now also supporting a research project in the field of process control (biotechnology PAT) for the first time. The aim is to integrate an LC system into the process control and thus to develop an automated online analysis system for biotechnological process control.
It is almost time - SIM presents new products and solutions in chromatography for your laboratory at the analytica from April 10 to 13 in Munich. Join us this year and discover how our products can make your daily routine in the laboratory much simpler.
The PAH Analyzer allows for automated analysis including sample preparation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). For this purpose, the sample extract is put into the analyzer and the automated process starts with purification through a two-step LC separation and subsequent analysis by GC-MS. The basis of this analyzer, the LC-LC-GC/MS system of Agilent Technologies modules, guarantees good reproducibility at high sensitivity. An Agilent Triple Quadrupole mass spectrometer of the 7000 series is the key component of the system as it allows the fast identification of PAHs with high reliability as well as their very sensitive quantification.
Determination of the hydrocarbon index is faster and simpler with the high throughput analytical system by SIM. It combines the new Intuvo 9000 GC, with significant quicker heating rates, and the PAL3 autosampler.
